This is an old barn located on Old Smith School Lane in Armstrong Creek, WI.  The house caved in years ago, but the barn still stands strong.

Vintage Tuesday

I have no idea what this piece of equipment is, but it’s old and rusty and therefore, fascinating. It is sitting by the side of the road in a bunch of goldenrod. I saw it quite awhile ago and have been waiting for the goldenrod to bloom so I could get a shot of it.

Bad Moon Rising

I’m a little behind in my posts again.  I took these shots of the rising moon last Friday and I’m just getting to them now.  I’ve always been as fascinated by the moon as I am by the rising and setting sun.

The Vervain Collection, Continued

The Vervain is still blossoming, so I couldn’t resist going out and getting a few more shots.  The first thing I noticed was this bee lying upside down within the stems of one of the plants.  I checked and, sure enough, he’s dead.  He certainly chose a lovely final resting place.  I was lucky enough to get pics of a live bee too.
