This is exactly what I would have done if I had the talent, the skill and the perseverance. You capture nature just as I imagined I would, long ago, when I first thought about photography. I love your work. I’m inspired to try some more.
I came here because I saw your “Beautiful Frost” photos on WeatherUnderground. There are several that look like Xmas-tree shaped leaves, completely made of ice. I am curious to know how such a thing forms and was hoping to find out or get some clues. I didn’t see any of those photos here. A shame and a disappointment. If you could tell me about them I would appreciate it. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, this very long url will show you one;
Hi Jonathon, Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment on my blog, and I apologize for taking so long to get back to you. The reason those frost pics were not on my blog when you looked is because I simply ran out of time that day. I have put them there since, but I’m sorry I have no explanation for how they were formed or why they look like they do. I’d like to find out though. We had an awesome snowstorm here Christmas day, so I’ve spent the last three days running around taking hundreds of pictures. You should definitely try your hand at photography, and if you feel that I may be able to help you, then feel free to ask. I’d be happy to help you in any way I can. Take care and have a great day, Nancy
