Happy Dog
Look To This Day!
Look to this day!
For it is life, the very life of life.
In it’s brief course
Lie all the verities and realities of your existence:
The bliss of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendor of achievement.
For yesterday is but a dream
And tomorrow is only a vision,
But today well lived makes every yesterday
A dream of happiness
And tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day!
Such is the salutation to the dawn.

Whatcha Doin?
I almost forgot I had these pics, waiting to get posted. I shot them about a month ago. I was outside taking macro shots of the water droplets on the cedar bushes in front of our big picture window, when I realized I was being watched. I looked up and saw two of my “furry children” peeking at me from between the blinds. These are our cats Jack and Earl, and I managed to snap a few “reflection” shots of them before they got bored with me and went to find something else to do; most likely another nap.

Wednesday Morning
I woke up early this morning and couldn’t fall back to sleep. It worked out ok though because I went out and got some nice shots of the sunrise.

Kitty Rule #1
“If I fits in it, I sits in it”. This is a universal rule of all cats. Any box, basket, bowl, etc., regardless of size, is a potential kitty bed. This is my cat, Earl, and as you can clearly see, she is way too big for the box, but that doesn’t stop her from squeezing herself into it.

Highway 101
I had to take a different route to work the other day and I got a few nice pics along the way. This is Highway 101 between Fence and Florence.

Monarch
I had time this weekend to play around with my Corel software and I tried a bunch of different stuff on one of my pics. I just happen to really like this monarch picture, that’s why I chose it. This is the first butterfly that I raised from a caterpillar in my house. As soon as it emerged from it’s chrysalis, I brought it outside and got some pictures. When it’s wings were dry enough to fly, it was free to go.
