I shot these pics on my way to work the other day. The tamaracks here are just gorgeous. I love the way they look against the evergreens.

I went for a walk in the woods on Sunday afternoon. I haven’t been doing this lately because of the bear and deer hunters, but no one was around on Sunday, so I decided to chance it. I wasn’t worried about running into any hunters, I was more concerned with running into a bear. Of course I didn’t and I got a few nice shots. As I was walking I realized that I’ve never taken fall pics of that old ladder, only winter and summer pics. Now all I need is spring pics and I can post it in all 4 seasons.

I can’t seem to walk past this old tractor without taking a picture of it, so here it is…again.

I went out this past Saturday and took some HDR shots of the wetlands and Lake Oneonta. I like the way the tamaracks turn yellow in the fall. They really stand out from the evergreens this time of year. It was a gray, dreary day, but the HDR really brought out the definition in the clouds and, well, everything else I guess too.

Well, we’ve finally gotten our first snowfall of the season. Never mind that little dusting we got Saturday morning, this snow is sticking on the leaves and branches and the lawn, but fortunately not on the roads. It doesn’t really matter though, because it will be melted tomorrow anyway.

Yesterday I went for a ride down some backroads, looking for roads that were “tunneled” and had good color. These shots were taken on Rock Creek Road in Fence, WI. It was beautiful and sunny, but cold and windy.

This shot was taken in Goodman.
These are the rest of the pics I have to share from yesterday. Somehow I felt the deer pics deserved a post all their own.
