River Collage

Well, since I’m jonesing so bad for spring and the weather has turned cold and we are getting snow again, I decided to post a river collage (all warm weather pics, of course).

The rivers featured here are; the Menominee River, Peshtigo River, Popple River and Hendricks Creek.

Winter Break III

We got 6 more inches of snow last night and a high of 11 today.  It’s supposed to get down to -15 tonight.  Now, on a brighter note, here’s a few collages from warmer days.

Thankfulness

First of all, I thank God for all the many blessings He’s given me throughout my life.  Much more than I deserve, really.  I’m very thankful for my family and friends.  I’m also very thankful that in this time of economic crisis, I have an excellent job and an outstanding group of co-workers to work with.

I’m thankful for all the beauty I find around me every day, in any season.

I’m thankful to have a camera to capture that beauty with, and to have the internet as a means to share it.

I’m thankful for my good health.

I’m thankful for my pets, who add so much richness and enjoyment to my life.

I’m thankful to have a nice, cozy little house to live in, a hot shower every day, food on the table and more to spare in the pantry.

There are so many things I’m blessed with that I am thankful for, and these few I’ve mentioned are only the beginning…

I haven’t had much opportunity to get out and take pictures this fall, also we’ve had quite a few gray, dreary days lately, so I really have no current pictures to share, even though the colors are peaked here right now.  What I have decided to do is share pics that I had taken the last two years instead.  The first pics I’d like to post were all taken at Piers Gorge in Norway, MI.
