Sturgeon River

These are the last of the pictures from my trip to the Sturgeon River.

Of course, I found another heart.   It’s been awhile since I found any.  I need to get out more and look for them.

I like that the moss and ferns growing on the sides of the bluffs are still green.

Sturgeon River

Yesterday, my friend Melissa and I (and her German Shepherd, Maverick) took a hike along the Sturgeon River.  It was gray and cloudy, but it was very beautiful out there anyway.  I can’t wait to see this area in the summer and especially the fall.

You can see where the river overflowed it’s banks here.

I love the fact that the moss and ferns are still green.

 

 

 

More Piers Gorge

This is the last of my pictures from Piers Gorge.  I took a walk along the Sturgeon River today and it was absolutely amazing.  It is every bit as beautiful as Piers Gorge.  I took a ton of pictures, which I will begin posting tomorrow.   I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful, blessed New Year!

I found this on the snow, made out of twigs.  I thought it was very sweet.
