Dutchman’s Breeches

This is one of my favorite flowers.  They are quite small,

about 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch.  They don’t grow in the woods

by my house, but I wish they did.  I found these on my

brother-in-law’s land.   There is also an abundance  of

Trout Lilies and Spring Beauties, but very few Bloodroots

and Trilliums.  We have Bloodroots growing in our woods

and an amazing amount of Trilliums, almost like a carpet

in some spots.  So, enough of my rambling, enjoy these

cute little flowers called “Dutchman’s Breeches”.
