I shot this out the truck window on my way to work Wednesday morning.

    That’s a fantastic photo!
    Did you know that Blake, the famous poet, called that type of a sky a “mackerel sky”?   To him it closely resembled the skin of the mackerel fish.

    That’s a wonderful picture for shooting through a truck window! Wonderul clouds and the texture they give to the sky.

    Great shot. we where lucky to have a similar sky last night at sunset but not as breathtaking as this

    Upon occasion, I’ve seen the beach with a sky like this…
    and you can sometimes look down and find the very edge of tide pools with the same pattern imprinted in the sand. It’s amazing to see the expanse above your head and below your feet hold the same fingerprint at the same time.
    Beautiful shot. Makes me long for sandy shores.
